CCi30 Index Allocation Calculator

The allocation calculator splits any USD amount across the 30 constituents of the CCi30 Cryptocurrency Index according to the official weights of the latest monthly rebalancing. The output is the basket a passive investor would hold to replicate the index under the published rules.

How does the calculator distribute an amount?

The calculator multiplies the entered amount by each constituent weight. The weights come from the official monthly weights file and sum to 100 percent, so the 30 allocations always sum to the entered amount. A weight of 27.49 percent turns 1,000,000 USD into 274,900 USD for that constituent.

Where do the weights come from?

The CCi30 Cryptocurrency Index weights each constituent by the square root of its adjusted market capitalization, an exponentially weighted moving average with a three-day half-life. The index recalculates and implements the weights on the first calendar day of each month at 00:00 GMT, with no caps and no floors. The calculator reads those published weights live; it never estimates them.

What the output leaves out

The calculator reports allocations in USD, not unit quantities. Execution prices differ by venue and by minute, so a unit count computed from a single reference price would misstate a real order. For weight changes between months, the rebalancing explorer shows every entry, exit, and weight change since 2015. The CCi30 Cryptocurrency Index is a benchmark, not an investment product, and this calculator is not investment advice.
